"A Clay on Words" for December 21st"

This is a drive by word drop off since I just got home from choir rehearsal and have to get up at the crack of dawn to go back and work half a day tomorrow. Darn Christmas preparations...;-)

Anyway, the word du jour is:

Saltando
Proceeding in leaps or skips. In bowed string playing, a saltando is a technique of bouncing the bow across the strings, producing a rapid, staccato arpeggio.

Now, do you think we MIGHT be able to have a word that isn't associated with the string section of the orchestra before the end of this tour? I'm still looking for him to use semihemidemisemiquaver but I won't hold my breath...much...

I don't have time for anything else but I will give you the answers to the last set of Christmas Carols:

1) The Nutcracker Suite
2) Up on the Housetop
3) The 12 Days of Christmas

Nobody seems to want to play so I won't put up any more. I hate it when that happens...

TTFN!
J

PS -- be looking for something NEW and EXCITING to come from the creative mind of ME in the New Year. More info soon...
